Can a 12th pass candidate apply for the RRB NTPC exam?

Government jobs are cynosure in Indian society. This is because they provide job security and salary till the age of retirement. Moreover, government jobs do not have the additional stress levels linked to targets as commonly found in corporate jobs. The salary hikes are predetermined based on the scales prescribed by the government-constituted pay commissions.

Thus, government jobs are a blessing in disguise for individuals coming from the middle-class population. There are certain categories of central government jobs that do not require higher educational qualifications (such as graduation or post-graduation degrees) or scientific and technical skills. A candidate who has just completed 12th class (i.e., 10 + 2 pass) is eligible to appear in the recruitment process for these jobs. One such job category is Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). The RRB NTPC is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) under the Ministry of Railways. In short, they are known as RRB NTPC whose job positions span the entire country.

RRB NTPC – Job Posts

There are various job positions that fall under RRB NTPC for candidates having passed 12th class (i.e., 10 + 2 stage pass) with not less than 50% marks.  In addition, aspirants need to demonstrate proficiency in English/Hindi typing skills and computer aptitude.
